Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Trst (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and your organization.

1. The Service

Trst is a compliance-automation platform that helps you collect evidence, map controls across frameworks, and prepare for audits. Trst does not issue audit reports or certifications — those are issued by independent licensed auditors or accredited certification bodies. Trst is a tool to support that process, not a substitute for it.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to connect any systems and credentials you add to the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to breach its security, access data you are not authorized to access, or use it to violate any law. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or other customers at risk.

4. Fees

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at sign-up. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give reasonable notice of price changes.

5. Your data & intellectual property

You retain all rights to the data you submit and the systems you connect. You grant Trst the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you. Trst retains all rights in the platform, software and brand.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." Compliance outcomes depend on your own controls and the judgement of your auditor; Trst does not guarantee that you will pass any audit or achieve any certification.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trst is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we handle your data per our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
